Patricia Lea "Patty" Jenkins (born July 24, 1971) is an American director and screenwriter. She is best known for directing Monster (2003) and became the first female director of an American studio superhero movie with the Wonder Woman film trilogy by DC. Jenkins will also become the first woman to direct a Star Wars film with Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (2023).
